Will their actual house be visible?
Not as an individual building. At 10 metres per pixel you can see the street layout, the block, nearby parks, water and major roads — enough to clearly recognise the neighbourhood and locate the house within it, but not to pick out the roof. Most people find this is the point: it places the home in its landscape.
I do not know their exact move-in date.
The month is enough. We search the whole calendar month for the clearest capture, so an approximate date still produces an accurate print — and the printed date will be the real capture date, so nothing on the poster is invented.
Can I give this before they move in?
Yes, as long as the date you choose is in the past. A print of the neighbourhood from a recent capture works well as a pre-move gift, and it does not depend on the move completing on schedule.
What if they live somewhere very rural?
Rural addresses often make better prints than urban ones — fields, rivers, woodland and coast all read strongly at 10 m resolution and give more colour variation than a dense grey city block.
